Journalists have a key role to play in informing attitudes and beliefs about cancer and conveying important public health messages about this challenging disease. Striking the wrong note when reporting cancer stories can spawn myths and misconceptions that are difficult to dispel. This workshop will look at how attitudes and beliefs based on misinformation can affect cancer outcomes and will explore ways in which the quality of cancer reporting can be improved.

Hey: There's plenty of good reasons to attend this workshop. If you want to know more, you can read this introductory text by the workshop speakers.
