The Conference has a place online
Submitted by webmaster on Sat, 2009-06-27 02:06
Next week will be hectic. Almost a thousand curious, active, dynamic and energetic science journalists will meet face to face in the heart of London, for what promises to be one of the best conferences we've organised so far.
Things promise to be great, because the roster of speakers is brimming with talent and experienced which will be very valuable for everyone in the hard times we're living. But sadly many more, thousands, could not come for one or another reason.
Luckily, we've strived to extend the experience of the conference as much as possible to the online world, so that many of those who won't be able to attend physically will be able to follow the sessions through content put online in this website, this corner of cyberspace meant to share more widely the lessons many will learn in London.
So if you're interested, don't hesitate, click at the right to ask for an account. Your user account will give you access to more material than the one you see as an anonymous visitant: you'll be able to comment and to download valuable stuff. In a way, you'll be part of the noisy bunch that will crowd around speakers and experts to squeeze the most of these days.
So let's all enjoy the experience, either in the flesh or through the thin but powerful tendrils of the internet. Welcome to the Party!
