Mr. Hujun Li is a senior science writer of Caijing Magazine, the leading voice for business and financial issues in China. Before joining Caijing Magazine in August 2007, Li had worked as news editor of Science Times, a daily newspaper owned by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and science correspondent of Southern Weekly, the most popular weekly publication in China. Li got a master degree in polymer science from Sichuan University, China in 1997, and worked briefly as a building materials engineer. Li was a 2003-04 Knight science-journalism fellow at MIT. He also won the AAAS Fellowships for Reporters in Developing Regions in 2004 and the UK-China Science Journalism Prize in 2005. He is also a co-founder of China Science Reporting Network (CSRN), the non-profit platform for advancing Chinese science journalism.
